I’ve made art all my life. It’s my main means of expression. I believe one of the most important aspects of my art is play, play that is serious in its relation to my perceptions.
Inspiration can come from anywhere, often from things I come across in the media, or photos I have shot. I like to work with varied images, and set up what I hope are provocative relations between them, using different techniques and effects.
Sculptures can be carvings or constructions, and sometimes have painted elements.
I try to keep the work accessible, while engaging in the conversation of contemporary art.
